AL.FESTIVAL is an annual music festival that celebrates South West Asian & North African Contemporary Pop & Alternative Music in Berlin, with the city’s extensive and unique SWANA Region Diaspora.
AL.FESTIVAL is blessed with a strong core of politically progressive SWANA Region Diaspora community, highly dense with artists and art lovers and acclaimed progressive community influential activist figures in culture, art, and politics.

AL.BERLIN
AL.Berlin, established in 2019, serves as a vibrant hub in Berlin for contemporary music and art. Focused on fostering community through live music experiences, it aims to connect people with the contemporary South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) region and the Global Majority. The initiative, symbolized by the name AL (آل(, meaning both “the” and “family” in Arabic, seeks to create inclusive spaces, challenging traditional notions of assimilation and integration. AL.Berlin’s flagship event, AL.Festival, has evolved into Berlin’s premier SWANA Region Music Festival, drawing significant attendance and expanding its reach through political knowledge production seminars.
